Our Custom Family Holiday Card with Basic Invite

Can you believe we’re in the middle of November already? The holidays are fast approaching and I’m not one to skip Thanksgiving, but I make one exception for my favorite tradition: Holiday Cards.

My late Grandmother took cards very serious, and I am proud to say I inherited the same obsession. Even with social media readily available I love flipping through the cards our family receives every year, whether its Valentines, Easter or the Holiday season. I love the surprise factor of not knowing whats inside!

Another one of my favorite things about holiday cards?! Displaying them in our home! It's so fun at the end of the year to see all of your loved ones pictures as a part of your holiday home decor.

When we took our family photos a few weeks ago with kELL Photography, I knew we had a winning family photo Christmas card on our hands. I’m excited to be partnering with Basic Invite on this post to show you how cute our cards turned out and to offer you a discount code!

I sat down at my desk with an almond milk peppermint mocha and started creating the perfect Holiday Card…

Why Basic Invite?
Because they provide the best variety of cards at the best prices. They also handle the shipping directly from their site to our mailing list, and their website is so easy to use.

One of the many things I love about the Basic Invite website is that you can load your picture and then as your are browsing the cards, you can see exactly what your card would look like in that design. You can also choose favorites and compare them to each other, ultimatily picking the perfect one.

Almost Unlimited Colors - Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options so you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail.

Custom Samples - Basic Invite allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual invitation so they can see exactly how it will print as well as feel the paper quality before they ever have to place their final order.

Basic Invite helped me create a unique double-sided holiday photo card.

I wanted to showcase a few of our family adventures we experienced in 2018 and this card perfectly reflects just that!

Whether you have amazing penmanship or not Basic Invite offers Address Capturing Service.

It allows customers to simply share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other form of social media to request their friends and family’s addresses which will be stored in the customer’s account and can then be selected during the design process. Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all Christmas card orders.

Not ready to send out Christmas cards…mail out a New Years card instead! It's still totally ok to send a card after Christmas… wishing friends and family a Happy New Year is still just as special as a holiday card (except you get a little extra time to mail them out!)

There are so many fun designs, whether you are looking to send out a family card or holiday party invitation, they have a plethora of adorable options.

Right now Basic Invite is offering 30% off with coupon code: holi30
